Week 3 - Nature - Eoghan


For my third prototype, the theme was nature. I came up with idea for a game in which the player enters a cave. They have a shovel and are able to dig through soft soil and must do this in order to reach the goal, all while platforming through the cave.

If I were to expand the game, I would add things like shovel upgrades (destroy more tiles at once + more damage), a climbing system and some enemies. Adding a story may also benefit the game.

I thought that this fit the prompt well as caves and dirt are big parts of nature and digging through a cave seems like an interesting outlet for exploration.
