Week 5 - Character


This week, we designed our character.

Since our game mainly takes place within a cave, we decided our character should be a miner. He carries around a shovel and can use it to either dig holes or attack enemies.


We also began to animate our character. As of now, the idle animation is mostly complete (aside from some minor adjustments if necessary).

Setting up the rig for the character was quite time consuming, but it was very satisfying to see it move.
