Week 3 - Nature - Davin A
For the theme "nature" the first thing that came to mind was a jungle or forest type scenery.
I enjoy my games being in first person so I decided to go with that and make a small forest with branches poking out.
I decided to go with a game idea where you play as a monkey that swings from tree to tree using vines (grappling hook).
You swing from tree to tree until you reach the end. Bananas are collectable on the way just as a score and a way to complete the level fully. You can still reach the end without collecting bananas. If you miss a swing and touch the ground you will respawn at the beginning.
If I was to progress this game further I would make it so you can spend the bananas on cosmetics or maybe unlock further levels with them to make the player want to collect bananas. I will also add more terrain and obstacles to avoid in future levels.
