Week 10 - QOL Improvements
Go Dig A Hole » Devlog
This week, we looked at playtest feedback to address some of the most common complaints about gameplay. The first is the dirt-breaking mechanic, where initially, you had to break one at a time by clicking. We changed this so you can click and drag to break blocks like a pixel-art painting tool.
We also changed player physics because the player could not jump when beside a tile with collision. Further, text to show how much ammo was left was added. We also rebalanced the enemies and changed how they moved so that they would not get stuck shooting at the ground as often, as some feedback complained that the game was too easy.
