Week 2 - Corrupted Vision - Davin A
This week we got the theme "Corrupted Vision." The first thought that came to my mind was messing with the players field of view, making it slightly disorientated or pixelated, giving it a 'retro' effect.
I decided to go with a football game, using a feature I made in my last prototype to change characters, which are the football players in this prototype. The question I asked myself was, would it be possible to make a football game with a 'retro' effect, make it look old-school sort of.
This was my idea of "corrupted vision", I went for a more visual approach rather than a mechanic which interoperates "corrupted vision." I wanted the player to feel like their vision would be effected and to make the game look old-school.
This corrupts the players vision as it does not look entirely clear but is still visually appealing and can be playable.
