Prototype 1, Control- Davin A
I've decided to make my game based around a puzzle game. I wanted my game to be set on different planets which each offer a different challenge/puzzle. The game is top-down 3D, and you play as two characters at once, exploring various planets as you solve puzzles to progress to the next ones. To make the game more interesting and challenging and to involve a character control mechanic, I decided to add a keybind to change the character you play as throughout the game. You will be playing as both, switching between them to position them in various areas to complete certain puzzles. The game uses faux gravity system, allowing the characters to walk on the planet. For now the game is set to be a singleplayer game where one player controls both characters, though I could see myself implementing a split screen option for people to play co-op or online.
I've went with a bright colourful colour theme to allow the visuals to be clear and to give them a 'pop'. The controls are straight forward, you can use W/A/S/D or arrow keys to move. Press "C" to swap between characters. You can control each character and position them in different areas on the planet.
